Description Michael Chudobiak 2010-06-08 11:57:19 UTC
2.10.x allowed hot keys to be assigned to user-defined scripts.

This functionality was removed in the 2.11.x rewrite, and should be added back in.

I am also affected by this "bug", I used the hotkeys extensively to help quickly sort the best photographs from a session into an /approved/ folder, or to send into Gimp or to a dedicated print folder, even add borders using imagemagick, resize or convert to specific formats in one button and many other things.

The hotkeys gave an easy ability to customise gThumb in many ways if the user wanted, and I am really missing the function.

The same is true for me. The hotkeys were a very useful feature. Please add them again.

This feature has been implemented in the development version. The feature will be available in the next software release (2.11.5). Thank you for your bug report.
