Description Samuel Thibault 2010-06-06 00:59:40 UTC
From http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=494380 :

When a Gnome application segfaults and causes gnome-segv to be lunched, orca hangs until gnome-segv is killed. It's particularly bad because it hangs for all applications, not just the one the segfaulted. This is a fairly serious usability issue because the entire session locks up.

This sounds bad. Adding it to the 3.0 list.
Comment 3 Trevor Saunders (IRC: tbsaunde) 2011-01-07 21:00:05 UTC
what is the status of this? does gnome-segv still exist?
Comment 4 Mike Gorse 2012-03-19 05:54:56 UTC
This shouldn't happen anymore with at-spi2-core 2.3.90 or newer. Please
re-open if you see it again.
