Description Sven Neumann 2001-10-08 18:33:21 UTC
The manpages installed with intltools list options that are not available
and omit options that are. The output of intltool-* --help is not very
helpful either.

For example, the --type=gettext/foo option of intltool-extract is described
nowhere.

Inquiring about this status of this, adding myself to cc line.
Comment 2 Darin Adler 2001-12-01 16:33:54 UTC
The man pages and --help output is still incorrect and incomplete.

I'd love to assist someone who wants to change the help and man
pages to match reality. It may be a bit challenging, since there are
no-doubt design flaws that will show up if we thoroughly document the
various tools and command line options.
Comment 3 John Fleck 2001-12-01 18:02:25 UTC
I will send a note to the lists asking for a docs volunteer to help
with this.

I've just committed a bunch of updates to manpages and --help messages
to intltool (hope nobody would oppose to the commit). Sven, perhaps
you can check if the new manpages and help messages looks good, and
close this bug? (I have no right to close it.)

Too busy with GimpCon preparations to check your changes, but I'll
assume they are fine ...
