GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 617443
Unable to add printers to CUPS server ("--CUPS-MULTIPART")
Last modified: 2016-01-13 04:28:20 UTC
Created attachment 160142 [details] output from web server With CUPS 1.4 installed, going to <http://localhost:631/admin> and pressing the "Add Printer" button results in a page that forever says "Looking for printers"... At the top of the page is the following: --CUPS-MULTIPART Content-Type: text/html;charset=utf-8 Indicating that perhaps Epiphany is unable to deal with something that the CUPS web server spits back at it. I'm attaching the full response from the web server as revealed by 'view source'. The page listing the printers detected is present in the output, but after a --CUPS-MULTIPART line.
Confirming with epiphany 2.30.2 and webkit 1.2.3.
Could be related to https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=17100
Just for clarification: ephy doesn’t hang. It displays the page correctly, but below the original one. You have to scroll down the page by hand, and there are glitches like the --CUPS-MULTIPART line displayed.
Funny. I believe we need support for this in soup, not sure if webkit needs to be involved too.

I just get an HTTP auth prompt (which is impossible to bypass, since it expects you to have a root password, as far as I can tell). Is this still an issue?
Hi, I am closing all Epiphany bugs currently in the NEEDINFO state. If you can provide the requested information or you feel this bug was closed in error, please leave a comment. Thanks!
