Description Marc Mulcahy 2001-10-04 09:24:06 UTC
It should be possible to select and move between the icons in a
GnomeIconList using the keyboard.

Adding GNOME2 keyword to all keynav bugs per sander's request. You can filter on
the phrase 'luis doing GNOME2 work' to catch all instances of this so that you
can ignore them.
Comment 2 Luis Villa 2002-01-24 19:07:28 UTC
Adding keywords on bugs I've touched. This is basically spam; you can filter on
the phrase 'luis doing GNOME2 work' to get rid of them all.

Moving around with the arrow keys seems to work. However, the keynav
proposal is more explicit about specific sub-bugs. Should we log them
here as individual bug reports?
Comment 6 Federico Mena Quintero 2002-02-05 21:30:05 UTC
I'm on this one.
Comment 7 Anders Carlsson 2002-02-10 14:02:54 UTC
How's it going Federico?
Comment 8 bill.haneman 2002-06-19 15:04:47 UTC
Federico, can we have status on this one? I'm afraid it'll get lost
as an 'enh' severity, if there are significant holes with respect to
the keynav proposals from Calum.
Comment 9 Federico Mena Quintero 2002-06-20 17:56:39 UTC
I'm on it right now.
Comment 10 Federico Mena Quintero 2002-06-20 19:12:11 UTC
Well, the basic actions work. You can move in the icon list. It
correctly displays the focus. You can hit Ctrl-arrows to move without
changing the selection, and then hit Space to select/deselect an item.

I didn't test multi-selection commands as:

1. GnomeIconList is only used in the GnomeIconSelection widget, which
is in turn only used in GnomeIconEntry.
2. GnomeIconList really needs to be scrapped and is more a legacy API
than anything.
3. The icon selection thingy only accepts single selection anyways.

I'm closing this bug.
