Description Dylan McCall 2010-03-20 20:09:22 UTC
At the moment, gnome-typing-monitor appears to use images stored in /usr/share/gnome-control-center/pixmaps/bar*.png for its notification icon.

This means that icon themes are unable to add their own versions of those images, which would be desirable for downstreams like Ubuntu and possibly for high contrast themes. (I'm no expert on colour-blindness, but I expect the current images are unusable with red-green colour blindness, for example, so users would appreciate the ability to change them).

It would be awesome if this went with the convention and placed the typing-monitor status icons in the hicolor set :)

Mass move to DrWright module. The code has been removed from the control-center, and put back in the drwright module as its interaction with the GNOME 3.x experience was not defined.

See http://git.gnome.org/browse/drwright
