GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 611079
Incorrect 'Data->Filter->Show all' behavior
Last modified: 2010-05-05 01:11:36 UTC
1..5 into A1:A5, add autofilter to A1. Select "3" in the filter. Select "Data->Filter->Show all". Expected result: unhidden rows with 2,4 and 5. Actual result: rows stay hidden, drop-down button changed to "v".
In addition "All","Custom" and "Top 10" from drop-down list stops to work until I reselect any exact value.
For me "Data->Filter->Show all" isn't even active to be chosen.
My bad... procedure has to be slightly modified. After "3" is selected, click drop-down list select "Custom" and cancel it. As a result "Show All" will be active.
Note that "Data->Filter->Show all" also becomes active when an advanced filter has been performed with "filter-in-place" selected. In this case Data->Filter->Show all has no effect at all.
The Data->Filter->ShowAll now works correctly for the Advanced Filter. frob's procedure should now not be any longer be performable, but the underlying issue has not been fixed.
This problem has been fixed in the development version. The fix will be available in the next major software release. Thank you for your bug report.
