Last modified: 2009-12-15 17:48:40 UTC
Created attachment 149756 [details] File that brings Gnumeric to crash If i try to open the attached file Gnumeric crashes on Windows Vista (1.9.16) and/or Linux (Mandriva 2010.0 / 1.9.14). OpenOffice can open this File without problems. If i want to open this file i have to first export it as an xls with OOo and after that i can open it with Gnumeric. But directly open the ODS doesnt work. - sorry for bad english -
Sorry I download the attach and can't reproduce, I print with no problem. you can add the stacktrace Because Without a stack trace from the crash it's very hard to determine what caused it. Can you get us a stack trace? Please see http://live.gnome.org/GettingTraces for more information on how to do so. Thanks in advance!
I can't replicate this. Would you be able to provide further info (as Fabio wrote, a backtrace would be ideal.) Please feel free to post in German if you feel more comfortable in that language.
Replicated. Problem at openoffice-read.c lines 992 and 1100.
Created attachment 149785 [details] Windows created error log Iam using Linux since 2 Months now. I installed Gnumeric-debug but it would not open a new window to show an error message - and iam to noob to understand the wiki. But here are the files that windows create when Gnumeric crashes (packed as zip)
This problem has been fixed in the development version. The fix will be available in the next major software release. Thank you for your bug report.
