GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 602626
Responding to a GPG-encrypted mail doesn't always work
Last modified: 2011-12-02 19:48:15 UTC
I sent a gpg-encrypted mail, I received a gpg-encrypted response, once I have typed my passphrase I can read it in the bottom panel. But when I click answer, I have a new mail window with this content : Le dimanche 22 novembre 2009 à 00:53 +0100, XXXX a écrit : -----BEGIN PGP MESSAGE----- > Charset: UTF-8 > Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (GNU/Linux) > Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ > > hQIOA36psFQHC2VGEAf+N2Ecy0UKOypB1e6UAzQnu3W/Vb10sYJgQ2jvwuZoS59S > 6CEzkBI9+jGOY76w0T2ZBsqSp1RmsedRvJrDRaeONzKcJdClixXDte5J4ZNw9I0k > a98QXLUjJgTfDXNJTJ6vS+7+D6MPy3Kes+RpzCIbhPHQCvkigXft2pelYw+Gho3t > gsV3XQLAexcAQn+16kgo68zdu/sS/kEW4e5QhFtPdWMaygsyrX8TJ6DOoRnaWxAM > OFUjd8y4EVCb3JP5FiT/9gRg6OvsvzEHOa/YtLq2dUmMCB+rqwZpZoYnel8s9OyN > dXn4VzzBWjDgoQ3SJ3PJndrKYCey1FZJfHFKeYNUzQf+Mb+Wo5XnAuVyM+xUrpkV > +KUzekUh/CSFU69lMKRYblLmmP+JdhmpK353hNIGg+SFqaG00nVkTQr/bxiZAZ8j > nkFPjZTHtRKf6wpRbBhc9ZRW+p1jUonfDe36Y5OSZoLZaTZdlPl4XLgIv7D1jqiq > AkMVpNMHPH/5EDlz6iBSGIvZGdD9IqyddYEHMRVRACFeHxMU5sOd10NHM5r8ecxb > fo8vazGPRq7aJKiXcwOCfo1tgtQ1XiwkRDV0aD8RW+MIvh6J3YrYpn95H9WEgfD/ > WdvCYPhKRc15fHXUD5UX2s9i5nCXx8IapUrHbnpGi34a5IYorK0rT9/5H74K2Dpn > U4UCDgM1TRoV3XziZxAH/iRn0Vk+MLo0/iPOlOFGDbmxzT2L1Y3Obkn4Ky+vfFGH > HAC0ke+Es+BzLJK+WP5qHrgF7rzgnzUquWdXppYE20JmWOzRaAs3GyD+TrRpCf6j > uZC1ZdzEQp7Ig5Hi1M084o8Xu0oE37mM1/wzZMrzv2iK2xpYnNCKh3ut9XIQS7II > UtYwTIU/wev85WqWz5Wsag81CaLshFPLL6SnxJVjeuy5RpMvetxg7qzb/fD/4oQX > DpOQqHno+lGILHFa67rUEhz6MspWwGoj9iKjFhb6RB4QvjOnH69pRtz+i39aiy2F > VO2JvdYt9FByi5Nhkcjg8KgH1qVV5JEbs2/F+2FieXgH/3Dlao22x3qvtlDBEcKm > fICr62H+4mlD9H54U7+wZEScX9b4axYyZUsB99mQKXQMfTAqXDPmXo88sEWnZ7tI > dg9dXrGcn4mUIRS6d5g3Z4atdIKO11pAHGfTxfDhnkMhQo2hKzG5u7sQNvw7KArL > b6kIkeoyL4KSKLN0FmTm5KCBG0wTUyPYCU5Ex0LbZQ39VIQ3ofSkyJEyALxkXijd > WEGEpUDXubjN+0pgiWhZ0LNS9YO61cwQN8+aIJjthCpZeu8eKaohG0ZBcqT7sIM+ > DFxH6J4aoEMp5OcqmbC0mVU79V85jdjqQvRyhU7tnA40C9N1dtJcIxVJ+WlSG5br > 863SwEUB3lDn783T55ucL97oVryITdWwfDkGhyPPyzbHjDiia6DX9WwkYoRTPa3H > 1gJkqgkXwsMH3JsgTNw/TQlfy/56UAKKUNgxuh1ap+ZKGCB1LlG8Mrp/fRMXjzor > cuoZUztG+rzPlj9Sgyhx0P1Cj/F3a7EL23RFo/XAIJlv6mhk2d6TtT26rNaWblgC > gIvdzSf03XL+jfa84ifsLkhI1mPNPO2JLyXIuDOfZ+h5uhAMiJB4JKzitCpHrDHj > oKuhCYW27TqGsp0dkUgKwto6Qq1WlW2bLAzfrV+4OL0NSfOwRqOUku9ZfZ9PcwaG > lM4ibkWTtPnOwK/H9/ezisu5EGuucSJVFiE= > =r6EZ > -----END PGP MESSAGE----- > > > While it should be the decrypted mail…
http://bugs.debian.org/540322 is the same you reported and it happens with traditional PGP encrypted mails.
I have been looking for the dup, but haven't found it. This is a different issue than https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=252111 but it is also mentioned as a.) in comment 14.
I can also confirm this behavior in Karmic Lucid (Ubuntu) and Goddard (Fedora).
with version 2.30 its still the same problem
Same issue with Evolution 2.30.3 on Ubuntu Maverick 10.10
I can confirm that this issue is fixed on 3.2.1 on Ubuntu Oneiric 11.10
Closing as FIXED based on comment #6. Thanks for the update.
