GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 60000
cut doesn't erase and doesn't store date in the clipboard
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
- Enter text into a cell and try to cut it. - gnumeric 0.67 does erase the cell but doesn't copy the data to the clipboard - gnumeric 0.70 doesn't even erase the cell (and also doesn't copy the data to the clipboard) - undo doesn't work either with respect to cutting (I'm using the latest GNOME rpms from Red Hat rawhide with German locale settings. I also tried the latest gnumeric source release 0.70)
Are you, per chance, running this under KDE? The clipboard daemon does things it should not.
Yes, I am using the latest stable KDE release (2.2) (Red Hat rawhide rpms) (Does this also explain that even the erase part of the cut command does not work in 0.70?)
