Description Karsten Weiss 2001-09-04 12:35:29 UTC
- Enter text into a cell and try to cut it.
- gnumeric 0.67 does erase the cell but doesn't copy the data to the clipboard
- gnumeric 0.70 doesn't even erase the cell (and also doesn't copy the data
  to the clipboard)
- undo doesn't work either with respect to cutting

(I'm using the latest GNOME rpms from Red Hat rawhide with German
locale settings. I also tried the latest gnumeric source release 0.70)

Are you, per chance, running this under KDE? The clipboard
daemon does things it should not.
Comment 2 Karsten Weiss 2001-09-04 13:41:28 UTC
Yes, I am using the latest stable KDE release (2.2) (Red Hat rawhide
rpms)

(Does this also explain that even the erase part of the cut command
does not work in 0.70?)
