Description Matthias Clasen 2009-09-08 16:27:55 UTC
The password dialog shows just one field where I can enter something (the password), so the 'All fields above are mandatory' line doesn't really add anything, in particular, since the 'Authenticate' button is insensitive anyway when the field is empty.

The checkbox 'Remember this credential' is somewhat awkward too. 'Remember this password' would be much smoother.

That's because some VNC servers may require an username too. In this case, an username entry will be shown.
Comment 2 Matthias Clasen 2009-09-08 18:10:23 UTC
I still don't think the label is very useful. The insensitive button is a very strong hint already that the fields are mandatory.
Comment 3 Jonh Wendell 2009-10-16 14:11:50 UTC
I've dropped that label. The reason it was there is that the button was always sensitive in earlier versions.
