Description Matthias Clasen 2009-09-08 13:45:22 UTC
Right now, if I give the password to somebody, he can delete all my stuff in the shared folder. That is not really obvious in the capplet. Also, if I want to share readonly, I have to select 'when writing files' and set a password that I am going to forget. Having a simple checkbox for readonly would be much more convenient, and is probably what most people want most of the time.

Jon, any ideas on how to present that in the UI?
Comment 2 William Jon McCann 2009-10-21 21:55:24 UTC
Where is this UI?
Comment 3 Bastien Nocera 2009-10-21 23:16:09 UTC
gnome-file-share-properties, or "Personal File Sharing" in System -> Preferences
