GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 593772
Exit the daemon when it is not initialized
Last modified: 2010-12-13 10:11:44 UTC
When the daemon is started by the PAM module, it is not usable until gnome-keyring-daemon --start is executed. Which is what happens e.g. when logging in through GDM (which starts it in its PAM stack in Debian) to a non-GNOME session. I think it should exit after a timeout if it is not initialized by the session.
Seeing this in 2.30.0 as well.
