Description Luca Falavigna 2009-08-31 12:46:26 UTC
Forwarded from http://bugs.debian.org/530309:

Lockdown Editor entry is not available in XFCE desktop environment.

Please replace
  OnlyShowIn=GNOME;
with
  NotShowIn=KDE;
in data/pessulus.desktop.in.in
Comment 1 Vincent Untz 2009-08-31 12:52:28 UTC
Hrm, but why show it in XFCE and not KDE, then?

Note that most of the lockdown stuff are really specific to what is a GNOME desktop (eg, panels, screensaver, etc.) so don't really apply to XFCE.

I was unsure if pessulus could be properly used in other environments than GNOME, and you seem to confirm my initial suspicion.

It's probably worth leaving things as-is for the moment; if needed, users can install and eventually launch pessulus from a console window.
