Description Steve Blackwell 2009-08-21 18:09:14 UTC
When attempting to "Add a Position" on my LinkedIn page, I am presented with a form. I fill out the form and press the "Save Changes" button.

What happens next is that the "Company Name" line gets deleted and a message saying "Please correct the marked field(s) below." appears but there is no marked field.

This form works fine in IE.

Thanks for taking the time to file this bug report. Can you reproduce this problem with Epiphany 2.27.x with the WebKit backend?

Because the Gecko backend has been discontinued, there will be no more bugfixes for versions 2.26 and earlier.

As far as I know epiphany 2.27.x is not available for F10. Are there any plans to backport it to F10?

You should ask the Fedora package maintainer about that. If you want to test now, I think your best option is to install a development release on a test machine or in a VM.

There not be a backport of 2.27 to F10.
FYI Firefox 3.0.13 does not have the problem.

Then I suggest you use Firefox for LinkedIn as a workaround, as long as you can't upgrade to a newer version. I'm closing this bug now but please feel free to reopen it if the problem still occurs with 2.27.90 or newer.
