If i try to open a new tab on nautilus with mouse third-button, the nautilus
crash. In the example i use the 'Go->Template' link to crash the nautilus.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Delete $HOME/Template if it exists.
2. Open the Nautilus and go to 'Go' Menu.
3. With your third-button, the 'scroll', click in the 'Template' link.

Now, the BugBuddy open and the Nautilus crash.

Patch for fixing this bug

I've done a patch fixing this against 2.24x.
Comment 2 Andreas Dalsgaard 2009-11-26 08:11:32 UTC
I can confirm a similar issue in Ubuntu 9.10 where nautilus crashes if:

1: Add a file to places
2: Right-click on the file in the places area and select open in tab

The patch fixes this issue.
Comment 3 Andreas Dalsgaard 2009-12-04 07:45:57 UTC
It seems the patch makes nautilus crashes instead of displaying an error message if entering for instance "Tmp" in the locationbar.
Comment 4 Allan Day 2010-06-17 11:36:19 UTC
I am unable to reproduce this. Please confirm.

Andreas: I don't understand your request. You cannot add files to places.
Comment 5 Tobias Mueller 2010-09-27 09:50:39 UTC
Assuming this issue is OBSOLETE. Please reopen if this is not the case.
