Description Kalle Alm 2009-08-10 10:20:45 UTC
Please describe the problem:
Whenever gedit's autosave function triggers, any inputted but not yet committed SCIM content in gedit is erased.

Steps to reproduce:
1. open gedit, go into settings and set autosave to every [ 1 ] minutes (to not have to wait 10 minutes for the bug to appear)
2. switch to SCIM input, hit enter a few times to make sure the document is unsaved, then type something in the language *WITHOUT* hitting enter. The text should be uncommitted.
3. wait about a minute.

Actual results:
As soon as gedit autosaves, the uncommitted content is erased.

Expected results:
Gedit autosaving should not delete the uncommitted content.

Does this happen every time?
Yes.

The input method used throughout gnome is now ibus. SCIM is not supported.
