Description Ionut Biru 2009-07-31 07:48:26 UTC
The panel encountered a problem while loading "OAFIID:GnoteApplet".
delete the configuration or not.

upgrading from 0.5.3 to 0.6.0 case the applet not to load anymore. tested on archlinux and debian too.

running from terminal /usr/libexec/gnote-applet and then adding to panel works without any error.

I got a report in Debian indicating the same problem. Reporter provided this information:

  $ /usr/lib/gnote/gnote-applet --oaf-activate-iid=OAFIID:GnoteApplet_Factory --oaf-ior-fd=24
  option parsing failed: Unknown option --oaf-activateiid=OAFIID:GnoteApplet_Factory

I released 0.6.1 just for this.

sorry guys.
