Description Philip Withnall 2009-07-26 16:28:13 UTC
It would be nice if playbin2 automagically supported replaygain.
Comment 1 Sebastian Dröge (slomo) 2009-07-28 19:56:43 UTC
What exactly should it do? Always apply the track gain or the album gain? Please describe what functionality playbin2 should provide for replaygain support, i.e. what exactly you need and want :)
Comment 2 Bastien Nocera 2009-07-28 20:17:38 UTC
2 boolean properties, to activate either/both :)

Then we could remove the code to do that in Rhythmbox, and get Totem support for free.
Comment 3 Sebastian Dröge (slomo) 2009-07-29 05:40:19 UTC
Or a enum property that can be {disabled, track, album}? You never want track and album gain at the same time. Sounds useful ;)
