Create an xyz contour. 
Open the property dialog. 
Select the PlotXYZContour1
Choose the properties tab
Hover over one of the spin buttons
The tooltip seems to refer to a bar or column chart.

Seems it does not use the glade file it should.

The glade file was copies from gog_barcol and the tips went unchanged. Done.
