Description Pedro Villavicencio 2009-07-22 15:26:27 UTC
this report has been filed here:

https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/brasero/+bug/302590

"having inserted a blank CD the option "leave the disk open" is grayed out, so after burning the CD will be fixed (no further multisession possible). Using a multisession CD, further multisession is offered, but the former contents of the CD are grayed out after having imported and trying to burn ends in error messages."

They are at least 6 users confirming this on the downstream report, could be this a wodim issue?

Thanks in advance,

Maybe I have found something that will help to find a solution:

When I use a DVD-R or DVD-RW (minus) and want to burn a data-DVD Brasero offers the option to "Leave the disc open to add other files later". That's OK!

When I use a DVD+R or DVD+RW (plus) instead, Brasero does not (!) offer the option to burn a multisession data-DVD.

I tested with blank DVDs from Sony, Verbatim and Platinum.

[Tested with Ubuntu Karmic Koala, brasero 2.28.2]

Sorry, my posting from 2010-02-17 is not (!!) correct. Please ignore it!!!

It made a correct posting in a new bug report (https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=614132).
