Description Pedro Villavicencio 2009-07-22 15:10:12 UTC
this report has been filed here:

https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/brasero/+bug/386888

"Brasero is missing the basic functionality to make multiple copies of the same CD or DVD."

"what do you mean? you can do that with current version on jaunty, just click on Make another copy and there it goes, does that works for you?"

"i do not get errors. What i want to do is tell the program to
make exactly "35" copies or exactly "175" copies. On most programs you can
select the # of copies to make before selecting to burn the disc or image.
On my Mac I use Toast which allows me to do this. It is very useful
especially when making many copies of say 12 different original discs."

Thanks in advance,

This is not an enhancement, since this functionality was requested a long time ago in 2007 and was already contained in brasero 0.7.1. For some reason, it has been removed again, but I doubt it was on purpose.
Comment 2 Philippe Rouquier 2009-09-04 18:14:27 UTC
Yes indeed this is a duplicate and the counter has been removed on purpose. See the original bug as to why. I may add that except if you have a charger setting the # of copies is rather pointless as you have to be around the computer to change the CD.

This totally ignores human factors and interrupts all other foreground processes.
