Hi Javier I think this gnome goal is misguided. If this patch is applied, then glade will simply be listed as "Glade" in the menu system. That title isn't very descriptive, and makes it harder to differentiate glade from all the other apps in the Programming menu category. This gnome goal also goes against the HIG, which recommends that Glade be named "Glade Interface Designer" (if memory serves me correct). If I am missing something, then its likely that the wiki page needs to include a better rationale :)

Hi Vincent, the GNOME 2 menus will continue to have "Glade Interface Designer". This is a patch that corrects the behavior to match the desktop file specs and consensus. It would be great if you could apply the patch. Thanks.
