GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 58882
Computing a doc's bounding box --> crash
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
When computing the bounding box of a document I cannot reproduce here for ownership reasons, which contains objects of the following types: <dia:object type="Network - Antenna" version="0" <dia:object type="Network - Bus" version="0" <dia:object type="Network - Cloud" version="0" <dia:object type="Network - General Computer (Tower)" version="0" <dia:object type="Network - General Monitor (With Stand)" version="0" <dia:object type="Network - General Printer" version="0" <dia:object type="Network - Router Symbol" version="0" <dia:object type="Network - Switch Symbol" version="0" <dia:object type="Network - WAN Link" version="1" <dia:object type="Standard - Line" version="0" <dia:object type="Standard - Text" version="0" dia can fall in an infinite loop. Two ways to produce this bug: 1) print (perhaps twice) or export to PS/EPS. 2) select view-->show all. This does not seem to happen in the CVS head. While I haven't done a source-level analysis of this bug, I suspect that we might have a bug either in the RenderObject support (which has been removed in the Head), or a problem perhaps still lurking in WAN Link or Bus. This bug is actually Debian bug #107167 http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=107167&repeatmerged=yes Please send a notification there upon closing this bug.
Now fixed in CVS.
