Description Willie Walker 2009-07-16 12:59:36 UTC
In the main window for Evolution, there are toggle buttons for switching between mail, contacts, calendars, etc.

When one chooses View->Switcher Appearance->Icons Only, icon-only versions of the toggle buttons are presented. This is OK. The problem, however, is that neither the toggle buttons nor their images have any accessible names associated with them. Tooltips do exist, but getting to them is troublesome.

To fix this, you might set the accessible name for the toggle button to the same string used when "Icons and Text" is selected in the Switcher Appearance menu.

Thanks!

This problem is fixed. It works on Orca as well as the Accerciser.

GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org.
As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org (resources are unfortunately quite limited so not every ticket can get handled).

If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent
and supported software version, then please follow
  https://wiki.gnome.org/Community/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines
and create a new bug report ticket at
  https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/evolution/-/issues/

Thank you for your understanding and your help.
