Description Owen Taylor 2001-08-06 18:42:21 UTC
When you select import, it should default to "Import Text File"
not "DIF", since "Import Text File" is more likely what
people want than DIF, and more importantly, the DIF error
message if you forget to choose the format is quite confusing.

Both Jonathan and Dave when trying to reproduce this bug
made the mistake of forgetting to change the file format before
clicking OK in the import dialog. (I'm not sure that the separate
screen in older versions wasn't better. Or maybe the selection
could default to "----" and if nothing was chosen, it would
prompt you to choose something)

(Haven't checked this with 0.68, so this may have been fixed)

CVS has just been patched to support the notion of precedence for the various importers.
