GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 586371
folder-visiting and folder-drag-accept no longer used
Last modified: 2009-08-19 02:14:50 UTC
As per summary when dragging a file over a directory and when a folder is opened on another (spatial) window, Nautilus still use the basis "folder" icon.
Marking as confirmed, I'm experiencing this problem on Ubuntu 9.04 with Nautius 2.26.2, Filippo Argiolas too on Fedora 11 with Nautilus 2.26.3 (confirmed via chat on #gnome-it)
Perhaps something wrong with commit 48ed43f32668e5615ac64a3de55ec7ab2f254ef7. Does reverting the commit fix this?

Unlikely, this is confirmed in gnome 2.26 and that commit is on master. Anyway the bug seems fixed in nautilus 2.27.2 (the least version that builds fine on fedora 11, since master contains several additions that depend on recent gio changes).
That's why I was confused, I was seeing the expected icons. Luca, can you confirm it's fixed in HEAD?

As per Luca's request, I checked with Ubuntu Karmic (Ubuntu development version) with Nautilus 2.27.2 and right now everything work as expected. Ciao.
This bug is fixed on 2.27
