GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 586233
Add "playback follows cursor" option
Last modified: 2020-03-17 08:16:15 UTC
I hope enhancement is the correct option for this. I don't know how many of you know foobar2000 but it has a nice option called "playback follows cursor" which can be activated and de-activated. It is nice because if you want to switch for instance between playlists (without interrupting the playback of the current song) or want to skip a few songs and want the playlist to continue with the tracks afterwards. This is different than when using the playback queue where you temporarily insert a few songs. The feature itself is that the "marked" track (by left clicking on it once for instance) will be played next and once that one is finished you continue with the next one of THAT playlist.
Banshee is not under active development anymore and had its last code changes more than three years ago. Its codebase has been archived. Closing this report as WONTFIX as part of Bugzilla Housekeeping to reflect reality. Please feel free to reopen this ticket (or rather transfer the project to GNOME Gitlab, as GNOME Bugzilla is being shut down) if anyone takes the responsibility for active development again.
