Description Pedro Villavicencio 2009-06-12 13:25:04 UTC
This report has been filed here:

https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/brasero/+bug/386245

"When burning an ISO to CD, I accidentally clicked the Eject Volume option in the right click menu on the desktop. On this action, Brasero froze and gave an error a few seconds later. The option should be removed or the icon removed from the desktop while burning is in progress.

See attached debug output and session log

STEPS TO RECREATE:

insert blank CD
Launch Brasero
Select Burn Image
Select an image
Select blank CD
Select Burn
While burn is in progress, right click on Empty CD icon on desktop
Select Eject Volume
Receive error from Brasero"

Is there any way that brasero could greyed out that menu item or should it be assigned to nautilus?

Thanks in advance.

That's an interesting idea. Unfortunately there isn't such a thing as locking desktop wide for the devices. Especially now that we moved from HAL to DeviceKit.
But who knows that could be done.
