if you have overlapping clips, in playback the first one is played to the end.
if you select the second one, on the selected track the clip is shown above the first one. if the playhead is in the overlapping zone, the viewer will show the second clip.
the viewer should show what will be seen on the rendered result;
selecting the second clip it should not move above the first one.

clips can't overlap anymore, so I guess this is fixed.
