In Format->workbook's view tab, we have three checkboxes: 
NoteBook Tabs for Sheets
Horizontal scrollbar
Vertical scrollbar

Unchecking these items does not hide the coresponding feature.

That does not seem to be connected to much of anything.

For starters, wb_view_set_attribute should be killed in favour of gobject
properties.  The same goes for preferred_width and preferred_height.

Properties are in.  Nobody listens to them yet.

This problem has been fixed in the development version. The fix will be available in the next major software release. Thank you for your bug report.
