Description Björn Lindqvist 2009-05-06 18:36:49 UTC
I get this bug when trying to play sound in gnome-sound-recorder:

ERROR: Internal GStreamer error: state change failed. Please file a bug at http://bugzilla.gnome.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=GStreamer.
DEBUG MESSAGE: gstswitchsink.c(176): gst_switch_commit_new_kid (): /playbin/abin/sink:
Failed to set state on new child.

Other applications like totem and rhythmbox can play sound fine.

What's the output of:

 gst-inspect-0.10 gconfaudiosink | grep Version

?

(If quite old, please mark as dup against gconf-state-change alias ;))
