Please describe the problem:
After upgrading from metacity 2.24.0 to 2.26.0, application windows maximize onto the whole screen under any panels.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open an application and press the maximize button.

 


Actual results:
The top and bottom of the window are hidden and inaccessible under panels.

Expected results:
The application to maximize into the area inside the panels.

Does this happen every time?
Yes

In gentoo with Gnome 2.24.3 and gnome pannel 2.24.3 with glib ebuild glib-2.20.1-r1 it again works perfect.

Debian Squeeze (latest snapshot), metacity 1:2.26.0-2, gnome-panel 2.24.3-1+b1, issue occurs.
