GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 578396
Notification improvements
Last modified: 2009-08-17 09:06:47 UTC
When from a Bluetooth device you try to connect to the computer, a “Bluetooth Device” bubble appears with the text “Pairing request for device name” and an “Enter PIN code” button that, when clicked, opens an authentication alert for entering the PIN. Instead, the authentication alert should open unfocused directly, and request attention. This was a change made in Ubuntu's bluez-gnome, and Ken van Dine said I should try to merge it upstream into gnome-bluetooth. I'll try to do this soon.
Where's the patch?
Hello Cody, Could you provide the requested information? Thanks!
Seems to be already fixed.
It certainly wasn't fixed in gnome-bluetooth itself. I guess you mean that there were downstream changes for this.
