Description Arunan Balasubramaniam 2009-04-05 15:02:31 UTC
Change to g_timeout_add_seconds to allow application wakeups to be bunched to help save power - https://wiki.ubuntu.com/SavingTheWorld

This is not http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=565085 as this patch covers a few more cases in the plugins.

gaim_timeout_add_seconds() being added was mentioned in the changelog for 2.1.0 http://www.pidgin.im/ChangeLog ; I'm not sure what the requirement for building the Gaim plugin currently is.
