Description Alessio Treglia 2009-03-30 20:20:26 UTC
(Bug report forwarded: https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/351887)

Using gnome-format in Jaunty beta (0.1.1-0ubuntu5).

After installing ntfsprogs gparted will allow formatting in NTFS. Perhaps gnome-format could rely on this to also provide this functionality.

External storage is often used to transfer bigger files than FAT will allow, this would be most useful as an additional supported file system

According to its developers, gnome-format is not under active development
anymore and has ben superseded by gnome-disk-utility.

There will not be any further active development.

Closing this report as WONTFIX as part of Bugzilla Housekeeping - Please feel
free to reopen this bug report in the future if anyone takes the responsibility
for active development again.
