When I put an audio cd in I see two audio cd icons (screen shot attached) - I checked with ps and there was only one applet running:

The problem reported previously to 2.26.x applies to 2.28.x as well.
So I'm confirming it...

bugzilla.gnome.org is being replaced by gitlab.gnome.org. We are closing all old bug reports in Bugzilla which have not seen updates for many years.
