Description Jean-François Fortin Tam 2009-03-14 16:14:52 UTC
For some reason, I can't get an image when scrubbing/playing the first 4.000 seconds of any ogg theora clip (that I encoded with pitivi 0.11.3). If I start playback by positioning myself after the 4 seconds mark, it works.

This doesn't happen with my regular .mov files. As I'm using a netbook, I will need to be able to use those lower-resolution/cpu-usage theora files for demonstrating PiTiVi.

Can you do a debug log as you did, but adding theora*:5 to GST_DEBUG . This bug might have been fixed in -base.

works fine with gstreamer git.

Can you tell us whether this is still an issue ? If so... I'd say it's a gstreamer bug.
Comment 6 Jean-François Fortin Tam 2009-05-21 00:52:35 UTC
Yeah, still doesn't work on my end, so I guess it's something that was fixed upstream. I'll have to revisit this in a few months or when I get gstreamer updates :)

Works in a jaunty VM with the PPA packages.
