Can't save locations

Steps to reproduce: 1. Open Network Manager 2. Unlock the manager (su) 3. Save a Location Name Crash boom game over. Log shows : Mar 12 17:12:40 dev-gary kernel: [10480.242881] network-admin[17145]: segfault at 0 ip b77530ab sp bfae4bac error 4 in libglib-2.0.so.0.1800.2[b76e9000+b5000] Stack trace: Other information: Ubuntu 8.10, installed latest Network Manager. No way to see version from within the application and save location goes boom!

Any updates on this bug? I also experience the problem.
Sorry, I've fixed that stupid bug back in July, and it's already in Karmic for some time. It was pushed as commit 8d15bceb175e0e99825d9a5ca2884b42a3746915. BTW, network-admin has nothing to do with NetworkManager. And I guess the way forward is to switch to the latter as soon as it provides the features you need, since I don't expect many people to devote time to network-admin now...
