Hola,

gthumb está completamente traducido al español neutro, como puedes ver en:
http://l10n.gnome.org/module/gthumb/

Actualmente *no* se lleva a cabo ningún proceso de traducción a otro español que no sea el español neutro.

Prueba a compilar el programa en la rama 2.10 o HEAD y comprobar si sigue pasando, usando español neutro.
