Description Javier Collado 2009-03-11 09:58:25 UTC
Looking into the accessibility data with accerciser tool, it seems that the nm-applet doesn't contain any accessibility information. Just some properties, but no name to make it easy to locate it programmatically.

Would it be possible to add such information to the applet?
Comment 1 Dan Williams 2009-04-08 22:40:37 UTC
Sure, but I'm not sure where to look to start adding that. Any pointers you can give me?
Comment 2 Javier Collado 2009-04-13 10:32:38 UTC
Hello Dan,

Thanks for you comment.

Accessibility hierarchy might be explored using 'accerciser'. If want to get information for an specific widget without manually traversing all the tree, move the mouse pointer over the widget and press '<ctrl><alt>?'

The information that I would be interested on is the one that is available when pressing any of the mouse buttons such as the number of available connections (left click) and the current connection information (right click -> connection information).

Should you need any other information, please don't hesitate to ask me.

Best regards,
    Javier

bugzilla.gnome.org is being shut down in favor of a GitLab instance.
We are closing all old bug reports and feature requests in GNOME Bugzilla which have not seen updates for a long time.

If you still use NetworkManager and if you still see this bug / want this feature in a recent and supported version of NetworkManager, then please feel free to report it at https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/NetworkManager/NetworkManager/-/issues/

Thank you for creating this report and we are sorry it could not be implemented (workforce and time is unfortunately limited).
