If you cat a bunch of stuff to the screen continuously and try resizing 
gnome-terminal it's pretty broken. Needs to be returning to the event loop
from time to time. 

Apparently it will also crash sometimes.

I see the resizing problems, but no crash.

And now I don't see any of the problems anymore. Please try the next
gnome-libs release or CVS.
