Please describe the problem:
I am running totem on Mandriva 2009.0 and have a file
http://music.case.edu/duffin/JustTuning/SoundFiles/TallisJust.mov
that does not play. I get the error
Missing Plugin: gstreamer|0.10|totem|audi/x-gst-fourcc-QDMC decoder
mplayer, with the win32-codecs package installed, does play this file.


Steps to reproduce:
1. totem http://music.case.edu/duffin/JustTuning/SoundFiles/TallisJust.mov
2. 
3. 


Actual results:
I get an error message and nothing is played. (see above error message)

Expected results:


Does this happen every time?
Yes.

There are no open-source decoders available for QDMC. You'll have to install pitfdll (which uses the win32 binary codecs)... if you can find it for your distro.

I could reproduce this, pitfdll did not help.

With latest gst-plugins-good (and for at least a release or two), that codec is now detected as: audio/x-qdm (QDesign Music (QDM)).

And if pitfdll can't do it either... then I guess there's no option currently.

I have only tested this on 2009.0 with gst-plugins-good 0.10.10, I'll test later with a current GStreamer.

No, pitfdll cannot play that one.
