They are actually very visible strings, so the problem is critical. I agree it would be nice to pass through the review process though.

Oops - was this just about strings that were forgotten to be marked for translations?
If so, this can definitely stay as it is, but a *notice* to gnome-i18n@ is expected.

Didn't review every single bug, because this was a huge commit breaking many strings, and quite late in the cycle.

Guys, ok so were in string freeze - I saw the upcomming deadline 
and I'm trying to bleed in a few minutes in to polish off the
easy to fix outstanding bugs - the string bugs are mostly reported
by translators in the first place arent they ?

I dont have time to argue about this, if you dont want the string
fixes then you dont get the string fixes, I guess we'll deal with
broken strings until 2.28.
