Description Tomeu Vizoso 2009-02-24 17:22:02 UTC
So we have had some users confused by it:

http://dev.sugarlabs.org/ticket/272

Keyboards use to have the arrow symbol and a label that is generally Enter in many (most?) languages.

There was work recently to implement symbols found on keyboards on the Mac port iirc. However in general this isn't so easy to solve because there are a wide variety of keyboards out there. And the locale doesn't always guarantee a particular keyboard type, let alone users buying a keyboard that isn't localized at all.

I would like to see the various symbols found on my keyboards, too. But I fear the solution won't be easy.

We're moving to gitlab! As part of this move, we are closing bugs that haven't seen activity in more than 5 years. If this issue is still imporant to you and
still relevant with GTK+ 3.22 or master, please consider creating a gitlab issue
for it.
