GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 572431
Add tracker gtk-doc documentation to the website
Last modified: 2009-02-28 16:09:10 UTC
In the last release of tracker (0.6.90) [1] we have added documentation of the relevant public APIs in gtk-doc format, with the usual gtk-doc make build system. Could it be possible to add these documents in library.gnome.org? [1] http://download.gnome.org/sources/tracker/0.6.90/
Could you write a short paragraph about tracker API? For example glib has: > GLib provides the core application building blocks for libraries and > applications written in C. It provides the core object system used in GNOME, > the main loop implementation, and a large set of utility functions for strings > and common data structures.
What about... Tracker is a tool designed to extract information and metadata about user's personal data so that it can be searched easily and quickly. For applications, it provides different APIs to query for files and set/get metadata from them. For the user, tracker includes a set of graphical and command line utils to search/tag files and configure tracker itself.
Thanks, and sorry for being slow handling this. 2009-02-28 Frederic Peters <fpeters@0d.be> * data/extra-tarballs, data/overlay.xml.in: added tracker. (closes: #572431)
