GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 571923
[gnome-terminal] wrong translation of gconf default value
Last modified: 2014-10-12 15:31:50 UTC
The default value for /schemas/apps/gnome-terminal/global/active_encodings has the comment: <!-- Translators: Please note that this has to be a list of valid encodings (which are to be taken from the list in src/encoding.c). It has to include UTF-8 and the word 'current', which is not to be translated. This is provided for customization of the default encoding menu; see bug 144810 for an use case. In most cases, this should be left alone. -->[UTF-8,current] The dz translation doesn't look like a list of encodings: <default>[ཡུ་ཊི་ཨེཕ་-༨,ད་ལྟོ་]</default>
Still valid in git master: #. Translators: Please note that this has to be a list of #. valid encodings (which are to be taken from the list in src/encoding.c). #. It has to include UTF-8 and the word 'current', which is not to be #. translated. This is provided for customization of the default encoding #. menu; see bug 144810 for an use case. In most cases, this should be #. left alone. #: ../src/gnome-terminal.schemas.in.h:163 msgid "[UTF-8,current]" msgstr "[ཡུ་ཊི་ཨེཕ་-༨,ད་ལྟོ་]" I've set that string to fuzzy for the time being: http://git.gnome.org/browse/gnome-terminal/commit/?id=4d04f7c81ea4bea933303007aabae5e72dd8aaf9
The string doesn't exist anymore.
