Hi,

The new preferences dialog is really nice. However, the old one had icons next to each section (security, notification area, sharing...) that were pretty.

It would be cool if they were returned to the new preferences dialog.

During 2.25 cicle we worked on streamlining the entire vino preferences dialog. For this, we eliminated not useful items (then tabs were not necessary anymore) and simplified things. The icons of dialog weren't useful, and we found that things would be much simpler without them.
