Description David Cantin 2009-01-30 14:08:10 UTC
Please describe the problem:
The stream [1] doesn't play with totem-gstreamer. All I got is the a frozen image (probably the first one displayed) and non sound.

This stream can be found on [2]. It the one called "Rdi en direct".

2. Do "Open location..." with the provided address stream.

substituting http:// for mms:// for the first link works fine. like:

gst-launch playbin2 uri=mms://direct.monde.radio-canada.ca.edgestreams.net/reflector:32208?MSWMExt=.asf

Comment 2 David Cantin 2009-02-03 03:25:53 UTC
Ok, I confirm that substituting http:// for mms:// is working when gst-launch is used.

But it's not working when I try to open the same location with totem-gstreamer (2.24.3). So there is probably a problem with totem and this stream

I will try to reassign this bug to totem.
Comment 3 David Cantin 2009-02-03 03:32:22 UTC
It seems that I can't reassign it so, should I close this one and open an other bug report on Totem ?

I got this message when I try to change the product from Gstreamer to Totem :

"You tried to change the Target Milestone field from HEAD to --- , but only the assignee of the bug, or a sufficiently empowered user may change that field. "

And, "---" is the only choice I have for the Target Milestone.
Comment 4 David Cantin 2009-02-03 03:36:06 UTC
It's me again ;)

The stream is playing with gst-launch but the audio is getting out of sink and the video is skipping a little.. so maybe this bug should not be closes after all.
Comment 5 Tim-Philipp Müller 2009-07-09 20:23:03 UTC
This works fine for me with totem+gstreamer from git, and gst-launch. No a/v sync issues either. Closing this for now, please re-open if you can reproduce this issue with up-to-date versions of things.
