Description Kamil Stawirej 2009-01-26 21:03:12 UTC
I cannot post new messages to newsgroups with Evolution 2.24.3 (fedora 10 with all updates to date).

When I create a new message, the "send to" field is greyed out and I cannot choose it to be viewed. This means I cannot post any new message to any news server, because the "to" field is only for e-mail addresses.

I can, though, reply to other people's news messages as the "send to" field is automatically displayed when replying to a newsgroup post.

Distribution: Fedora release 10 (Cambridge)
Gnome Release: 2.24.2 2008-11-25 (Red Hat, Inc)
BugBuddy Version: 2.24.2

Confirming. I found the logic behind this rather confusing when I was writing the 2.24 composer. The enabled fields should depend on the type of account selected, and should update themselves when the selected account changes.

I'm very unhappy with that automacially graying out the "publish in"-field (I have a german Evolution, so I don't know the exact name of the field in english.

In the "Ansicht"-menu the item "Veröffentlichen in" is almost always grayed out.
Somehow after clicking around half an hour I managed to get that dammned field displayed. That was two weeks ago. Today: same problem.

Intuitive solution: DONT EVER GRAY OUT THAT ITEM!!!!
